Rekindling the Oakland Menorah!

This Chanukah, on the evening of December 25, we will proudly rekindle the Oakland Menorah, marking the first night of the holiday. One year ago, this cherished symbol of light was destroyed and thrown into the lake. Today, after being lovingly restored piece by piece, the menorah returns as a beacon of resilience and hope.

Join us on Wednesday at 4:30 PM at the Chabad Center (3014 Lakeshore Ave) for a meaningful celebration. The evening will include the menorah lighting, a festive Chinese dinner, and delicious sufganiot. Let’s come together to celebrate light, resilience, and community!
